That good news in the heading.....we got a house! We are so appreciative of my parents letting us stay with them for a while, but it was time for mom and dad to get back to their empty nest and for us to get out on our own. After searching, and searching, and well searching some more, we found a modular in a nice community. It's 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms almost double the square footage of our house in Pontiac. We are so happy here for many reasons - being close to town it takes both of us less than 5 minutes to get to work and I LOVE LOVE LOVE coming home for lunch it's a nice break to my day and it's nice to see David mid-day also. Zelda (our black cat) was extremely happy with my parents that she stayed with them. Tiger (our orange and white cat) is a little sad that he doesn't have a friend to play with but he is adapting very well. He loves all the windows and spies on the neighborhood. Our evenings have been spent working on hanging pictures, and shelves and just making this our home. Right now the only pictures that I have are off of my phone the night that we came in to clean our house. We have some boxes to put away and then I'll have pictures of what we have done so far!
The front of our house -YIPPIE bay windowsMaster Bathroom -LOL it's funny I have a picture of our toilet.
Our garden tub - It's HUGE and very tall!
Walk in closet - I pretty much took it over, but I'm working on sharing it with David!
Our bedroom - Its a very big bedroom with a nice big window that looks at our shed.
Our living room window - all the natural light is so wonderful!
The kitchen and dining room our kitchen has a wonderful sky light!
The laundry room - it's nice and big
The office with a nice bay window-the window is Tiger's favorite spot in the house. He's a very nosey cat!
The spare bedroom and closet - which is currently where most of David's clothes are at....like
I said I'm "trying" to share!
Our second bathroom - LOL yes I have another picture of our toilet...hehe I guess I want anyone who comes over to know that we have bathrooms a plenty!
All this cleaning and moving happened while I am still recovering from a stress fracture on the top of my foot! How did I get a stress fracture....we'll some say it's because I have to much stress in my life ;0 - in all honesty I don't know what happened. The doctor said I could have been walking one day and there my foot fractured. Not a great story I know, but I'm stuck in this stupid boot for another 2 weeks and have to wear it to the convention that is this weekend.
Well that's been our life recently. I'll work on getting some more pictures for the blog up from us decorating the house.
