We met at David's sister's wedding. David was the DJ-another hobby of his-and I was invited because there were friends who told us both that we HAD to meet! David came up to me and asked me if I wanted to dance and that's how we started.
We got engaged at a cool little coffee house called The Raven. David had planned out his proposal and used his friends to help him out. I was so shocked when my plate of dessert came with my engagement ring sitting on it!
Later that night we walked on the pier looking at Canada and the Blue Water Bridge
Next came the months of planning, dress shopping, showers.
The BIG day!!
We honeymooned in Mackinaw. David put so much hard work into our honeymoon it was PERFECT.
This is David's favorite picture. We went to the butterfly house on Mackinaw Island and he hoped the whole time that we were walking the butterfly house that a butterfly would land on me, and his wish came true. I was totally mortified at the butterfly landing on my face, yes I know that it is just a butterfly and that it couldn't hurt me but really I was so freaked out and quickly whisked it off my face!
So that's our beginning up to our honeymoon. I'll start working on what else has been happening in our lives since our honeymoon.
